Pettyjohn’s Cleaning specializes in a sustainable and environmentally friendly cleaning approach to fine textiles like Oriental and area rugs, upholstery, and family heirloom pieces. We use naturally-softened rainwater, eco-friendly and Wool-Safe approved cleaning agents in our process. We’ve found that fabrics and floor coverings in the home act as an air filter, and regularly “emptying” those filters by vacuuming and professional cleaning plays an important role in the indoor air quality of the home. We’ve been improving indoor health for 30 years in the Triangle area (and beyond!) and we love educating our clients on steps they can take along these lines.
